Microsoft Lync 2013 – How to Set Up Audio in Lync

  1. Before you join a meeting or make a call – make sure your audio is set up the way you like
  2. On your Lync contact list click the ‘Options’ button that looks like a gear
  3. Click on ‘Audio Device’
  4. Select a device from the list
  5. If you don’t see the device you want – just connect it and install it and Lync will automatically detect the device
  6. Now, adjust the volume of your device with the volume controls below
  7. To test the call quality select ‘Check Call Quality’
  8. This allows you to hear how you sound when making a call
  9. Click okay to save the changes
