Issue:
If you’ve recently deployed a vSphere Replication Appliance and you’re unable to get your VRM service started this might help.
As you can see below this is a fresh deploy and our VRM service is stopped. You can attempt to start it however it you might experience that it’ll stop again after a few seconds.
Resolution:
Ensure your full LookupService path is entered as shown below. Also be sure you’re entering the correct SSO administrator credentials, not just any administrator credentials.
