Do you need help planning your Microsoft Lync or Exchange deployment? Organizations that have contracted Enterprise Agreements for Microsoft Licensing can be Granted Microsoft Software Assurance benefit vouchers. You get a set number of Planning Services days, depending on the type and number of licenses you have with Software Assurance. These days can be used for any Planning Services engagement, which range from 1 to 15 days in length. You select the engagement, along with PEI, to arrange and complete the engagement onsite.
Customers can use L&EDPS to cover the cost of planning services to help them understand why and how to deploy Lync Server or Exchange Server. Depending on the number of days the customer qualifies for and the services they are interested in receiving the L&EDPS engagement may include a variety of benefits including:
- Understanding basic functionality provided by Microsoft Lync or Microsoft Exchange
- Leverage an expert for their deployment planning activities and questions
- Understanding of architectural and operational aspects of Microsoft Lync or Microsoft Exchange
- Planning for both online and on-premises (hybrid) solution deployment
- Next steps to continue planning efforts
