Favorites group lets you build a list of people you contact most often. Just right-click a contact, and then click Add to Favorites in the drop-down list.
To enable the favorites group to show up on your contact list come over to the menu on the right and click on tools and then options.
Within the options menu click on contact list and make sure favorites list is enabled.
Now coming back to our contact list you will now see the favorites list with the contacts that we added in their earlier.
You can add additional contacts again by right clicking as well as remove contacts from favorites list by right clicking them
