Here’s a quick pointer to remember when you create virtual switches in a VMware environment that is clustered with multiple hosts. Make sure that the Network Label for each vSwitch is exactly identical on each host. Case sensitivity and punctuation do matter.
If the Network Label is not the same for like Virtual Machine Port Groups, then VMs will fail to migrate between hosts.
