Timothy Krueger, President/CEO

Tim is originally from Cincinnati and has resided in Colorado since 1992. He earned his B.S. in Finance from the University of Arizona in 1983 and his M.B.A. from Arizona State University in 1984. Early in his career, Tim worked as a financial and economic analyst for a multi-national consulting firm and lived in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Phoenix, Arizona. He co-founded PEI with his brother, Chris, in 1988 in San Mateo, California. After four years in the Northern California, they re-located PEI to Boulder, Colorado.

As President and CEO, Tim is responsible for the overall direction at PEI and focuses on both tactical and strategic business and financial matters. In addition to his duties at PEI, Tim is an active real estate investor. He has served on advisory boards with many technology companies and is active in his community. In addition, he enjoys fly fishing, camping, hunting and competitive trap shooting. He and his wife live in Erie, Colorado with their three boys.

Chris Krueger, VP/CIO

Mr. Krueger’s 33 years of industry experience and extensive prior business consultation in the areas of service, product development, manufacturing, engineering and government, make him a powerful strategic partner. He has developed business plans, IT strategies, e-commerce and Data Center architectures, business process enhancements, etc. since 1988. Chris has played a role in well over 2,000 network infrastructure projects during his career.

He has been involved in all aspects of PEI’s Open Systems offerings, Microsoft and Cisco design, integration and consulting practices since 1995.

In 2002, he was honored as a co-patent holder and principal architect on a Microsoft Office XP award winning project for Ascriptus, Inc., a Greeley, Colorado based health care Information System provider. This project won top honors from Microsoft in two national regions for the Medical Industry.

Recently, Chris has been involved in the development of PEI’s Virtualization Practices and vision-cast to key customers on the role of the Private Cloud for their organizations. He’s also chartered a comprehensive green initiative with emphasis on Data Center, Co-located hosting and Business Continuity for mid-tier companies.

Jacob Eker, Executive Director

Jacob Eker has been with PEI for the last thirteen years and has been in the IT consulting/project management realm close to twenty years. He is responsible for defining infrastructure and network architecture standards as well as overseeing implementation of these standards by PEI Engineering. Jacob is PEI’s most experienced Microsoft infrastructure engineer and has architected and implemented hundreds of environments. He is a specialist in migrations from alternative platforms to Microsoft Active Directory and Unified Communications. Jacob maintains multiple professional certifications including Microsoft MCITP, MCSE+Internet, VMware VCP, and Citrix CCEA. In 2003, Jacob was distinguished with a nomination by Microsoft for MVP of Exchange.Jacob graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.
